Are you getting any errors, or it’s just not doing anything?
Are you sure you have OnDocFormSave checked off on the plugin page?
Are you running 0.9.5?
Have you modified the plugin code at all or is it what’s shown on the first post?

Hi everybody.

NEW VERSION: 0.9: The new code’s in the first post.

Notes on 0.9:
As far as I could figure out, anything past 0.9.5 (like 0.9.5.1 or 0.9.6rc1) doesn’t like the strtr function that handles much of the accented -> non-accented replacements. Not sure why, but replacing the strings of characters with an array fixed the problem. If anybody’s still having problems with the accented character conversion let me know.

I also added more comments in the code for the less PHP-inclined folks.

The default output is also changed, so if you upgrade, make sure you change the $alias_new to what you want.

I’ve only tested this in 0.9.6rc1 and 0.9.5.1 so far. Please post if you find any problems.

I’ve just tested on 0.9.6 RC1 --> Works fine !!!

Except (sorry again :/) when you edit a document with QuickEdit : alias is replaced by the id of the document.

Hummm as Perrine the 14-02-2007 at 19:13:58, the plugin doesn’t work on MODx 0.9.5...
The OnDocFormSave is check off (turn on)
The generated alias for "Généralité" is "gnralit" with or without the plugin.
