Because the Manager-interface is so excellent
I often intuitively pressed the Ctrl-S button to save something. (and, btw, scrolling up everytime for clicking "Save" was also not a pleasure.) So I took the "BottomBar"-Plugin and hacked it (well, the original plugin is more or less a hack - so I didn’t mind) to use access-key="s" for the Save action.
I never bother clicking "cancel" anyway, so there was no reason to add more keys. (and "delete" seemed too dangerous)
For me it works like a charm, so it may do so for you too.
However: no warranties! And the code is kindof "nightmarish", so please just "love it or leave it".
