You need to activate the request config file by appending &config=`request` to the snippet call.

I tried this, with the page uncached:

[!Ditto? &startID=`39` &config=`request` &debug=`0` &tagMode=`onlyAllTags`  &summarize=`12` &displayArchive=`0` &tpl=`DittoTemplate` &paginate=`1` &emptyText=`No items found.`!]

I still get all the products back, with no filtering. The URL:

http://example.com/index.php?ditto_filter_1=tvProductCategory%2CTable+Tops&ditto_filter_2=tvTagsFinish%2CWood&ditto_filter_3=tvTagsColour%2CYellows&ditto_filter_4=tvTagsStackable%2CYes&ditto_filter_5=tvTagsWarrantee%2C%3E+12+months&id=63&hiddenTVs=ProductCategory%2CTagsFinish%2CTagsColour%2CTagsStackable%2CTagsWarrantee&multiLevel=1&sortDir=ASC

I must be doing something basically wrong here, can you point me in the right direction?

hi

you missed some params in your ditto call.

You should add &tagData=`tvProductCategory` and so on for each TV you are refering to.
You also need to specify a &tagDelimiter=``, the same as your widget in TV properties (delimited list)
If Tvs are not attached to the template used by the document you are using to display ditto list you have to use &hiddenTvs.

I did this, per your suggestion:

Still the same result.

Mmm... I’ve givven a quick look at your URL call, and I think the &multiLevel param is gone in favour of &depth which accepts the number of levels to go throught.
Give it a try, maybe Mark can confirm.

I’m having trouble trying to have any type of output from Ditto 1.1 beta 2.

Hey, Mark, maybe a little example of a snippet call for output a la DittoMachine using Ditto 1.1 beta 2 would be of much help - my site was supposed to go live yesterday, I’ve been trying to crack this problem, it’s driving me nuts shocked

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Adding &config=`request` is the only step that should be needed.

Try this simple call
[!Ditto? &startID=`39` &config=`request`!]

Then append ?ditto_summarize=######### with different numbers. Please report your results.

And got this (there are 134 products in my DB):
