Hi there,
I moved my MODx website from my development server to the live server. The website is working perfectly fine, but when I type /manager it gives me a blank page.
Ive changed all the paths in the config.inc.php files to the new location and also imported the database and changed an entry there to the new location.
Can anyone help me? I’m guessing I have to clear the manager’s cache or something?
Thanks!
Correction.. the templates of the website are working, but it isn’t getting any template vars or content...
Can I somehow clear the cache without having to use the manager?
Hmm... by moving my site from one to another, also the CHMOD data disappeared
I guess i’ll run the installer again
Ok.. I used the installer and now my website is function correctly as it should, but still no luck on the manager..
When I go to mydomain.com/manager I get a blank screen... Perhaps it has anything to do with the sessions? I forgot to flush the sessions before I moved MODx

Check the error log at core/cache/logs/error.log.
You can also try clearing the cache (delete the contents of folder core/cache, but check the logs first).
Damn.. I upgraded to 2.0.8 and I’m having the blank manager problem again!
I’ve did setup -> upgrade and the manager is blank.. while i’m absolutely certain this time that the config.inc.php is correct. Upgrading or moving MODx drives me mad :p

Why is it looking for ’soft’? that folder doesn’t exist, it is named ’default’.
Ah.. also solved.. I installed a ’soft’ manager theme and uninstalled it later on.. seems I forgot to set the ’default’ theme again in the settings
