VtigerCRM as well. This SugarCRM fork has, in my opinion, outgrown his elder brother (so to speak...). One of the strong point in favor of vtiger is office and email integration is opensource, not commercial software. Other than that, I find Vtiger’s features and interface one notch ahead. Not to mention a more dynamic community.

Guys, this has become a really interesting discussion for me.
I checked vtiger too a few days ago, and find it to be faster and easier to navigate. I also notice the outlook plugin that is offered for free, an it seems that SugarCRM kinda blocking that name to be mention on their forum as well.
Anyway, it’s true that vtiger is a better program, but it’s a huge program that required understanding of the whole architecture to be able to extend it. One thing that is still lacking is the ERP part for it. After all syncronizing data between ERP and CRM is better be done on the fly, as if they run all together as one application and able to be adjusted according to certain company type. Lets assume, CRM has a better scope, because one type of CRM can be use on most of company, while ERP is a little bit more specific. Take an example of consultant and manufacturing company, they both required the same functionality in CRM, but not for ERPm they are totally have a different system for their backend.
If we could expand something out for ERP, maybe based on vtiger or MODx, all we need to do is provide some kind of framework that built upon the same kind of pipeline to syncronize upon vtiger CRM or maybe we built our own? Hehehee....
HUGE PROJECT, but I will try to tackle this down into smaller part if posisble, and we;ll see whether it’s a feasible things to do or not.
As far for tatoom it sounds so promising. I can see this system to grow more from my first expectation, when I joined this community.
I’m looking forward to be part of this big major overhaul.

I’m not the best programmer, and I’m not to for sure that my skill will be enough to help the development, but I believe I have a good analytical skill to think about the concept and planning of application development. Hopefully I can help with that part, and watch the deevlopment of tatoo closely.
