I just screwed-up myself!!
By using the Document Manager (1.0.2) to update one TV value, all TVs active on the selected template get updated
..UNLESS you enter the TV names to exclude in the last input box at the bottom of the page!!
Aside from my dumbness I believe this is a
major usability problem in the manager interface, with very dangerous consequences for a site health!!!
First of all I would somehow mention this behaviour in the ’Specify the Document IDs which need to be changed, either by ...’ intro text, moreover the action to be performed onClick should be made clearer to the user, maybe with a confirmation dialog that lists all TVs that are going to be updated.
