All,
The site i’m building will receive its content from the client’s system of record (SOR). After the initial data import an add/update/delete action on the client’s system will need to be replicated on the MODx site. The SOR will not be aware of the MODx document id so documents will need to be selected by alias (SOR identifier).
I assumed that MODx API had both getter and setter methods, but looking more closely i don’t see the setters, which brings me to my question. What is the best MODx practice to programatically CRUD documents and TV values?
I’m using the latest release of Evo.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the suggestion Bruno17,
but I’ve already looked through the published API docs, and cake MODx returns no results.

thanks Bruno17,
guess that errant space in "cake modx" through the search off the track.
This is exactly what i was looking for.
Now i’m curious why the setter methods were not included in the core API.
