Hi folks,
I have some TVs in my template that my "editor guy" should not be able to edit, in fact, he should not even see them. How can I achive this? I already marked the TVs as "Lock variable for editing" and revoked the right "edit_locked" in my "editor guy policy". Nothing. Flushed rights, cleared cache, logged out, no effect. Then I removed every right with any "lock" in the name: "steal_lock" and "unlock_element_properties". Still all the TVs appear when he is editing a resource.
What am I missing?

What happens when he edits and tries to save?
From how I see it, edit_locked means the actual editing (saving) and not the ability to open/view/edit without saving..
To hide it, try working with element groups and only granting the main admin policy access to that group.

From what I understand, you aren’t talking about the TV itself (in the Template Variables section); this is what the "edit locked" feature protects. If you don’t want the TV to show while editing a resource, in Evo you can assign it to a user group so that only those belonging to that user group will see it. I’m sure Revo has something similar.
