Before I get to the point - I’m trying to achieve this with MaxiGallery, but if anyone has a better idea, let me know.
I want to have an image gallery. You start with the first photo and can browse through it to the end. The catch is, the photos are tagged with categories (i.e. Portraits, Landscapes, Animals). I want to have portraits first, then landscapes, finally animals. Further on, I want to have links going to the first of the portraits, landscapes and animals.
Any ideas how to achieve this?
I was thinking of making three separate galleries and then combining images from them into a single gallery. It would also have to get the image count from each gallery to set proper links to the beginning of each category.
I’m just starting my work with MODx, so I’ve got no idea how to get it done, even if I my idea has any point to it.

EDIT: I found out how to get images from multiple galleries into one.
Still looking for a way to determine the image count of different galleries.
