On a related topic, ’e’ text editor 1.0.1 has recently been released for Windows http://www.e-texteditor.com/ and supports Textmate bundles... so if someone has a Textmate bundle out there already be good to know.

Zen coding will also work with e text editor (completion only). I’m a fan of PSPad and Zen Coding seems to work fine with that with full support

@yama your on it ! Damn son, I didn’t realize their was a lightweight Zen Coding textarea plugin. Freaking cool.

Alternatively, drop the Zen Coding EditArea plugin into the modx EditArea 0.5.1-GA /plugins/ folder. Works like a charm.
