There’s no designed area to put your files in, although /assets/images/ is considered best practice.
The pathway should be taken from the webroot normally.
What’s the settings of your filemanager_path, filemanager_url, rb_base_url and rb_base_dir settings? (System -> System Settings > Area: file systeM)
filemanager_path = /images
filemanager_url = /images
rb_base_url = no value
rb_base_dir = no value
Change those to ’images’, not ’/images’.
