MODx 404 handler

Hi there,

I’m new to the forum and a newbie in MODx

I was looking for a way to handle the 404 (page not found) in MODx.

I’m using MODx in combination with another application, so if MODx cannot find the page it must redirect to the other application.

So if you have some pointers or maybe even the solution

What about cerating a weblink to the other application and pointing the MODx error site in the configuration to the ID of that weblink?

Alternatively you can catch the event inside your MODx directory via mod_rewrite (.htaccess) and redirect to the other application. Doc here: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_rewrite.html
