Need Help - @SELECT binding template variable losing its value when editing

I have the following multi-select listbox TV with the following input option value

@SELECT pagetitle,id FROM `modx_site_content` WHERE parent = ’8’

I go to create a page with the assigned TV, select the values I want for the TV and save the document.

When I edit the page, the selected values for the TV are there, however when I change the EDITOR TO USE for the document content area to TINYMCE or FCKEDITOR, I lose the stored values for TV after the frame refreshes. If I were to save the page now, I lose my stored TV values. Before saving, if I change the EDITOR TO USE for the document content area back to NONE, my stored TV values are back again.

This happens when I change my default editor to TINYMCE or FCKEDITOR and come back to edit the page. Swapping the EDITOR TO USE always clears my stored values for the TV, but appears again when I change it back to the original editor.

Hope this is clear. Any help is much appreciated.

Not much help, I suppose, but I get the same behaviour with MODx 0.9.6.3 in similar circumstances - I have a checkbox TV that includes a stylesheet when active. It always clears itself when I switch editors from my default "None" to TinyMCE. I have just learned to live with it, as it is predictable and only involves a single click, but maybe it needs to be filed as a bug? Or maybe it’s fixed in Evolution 1.0?

Checkbox TV value seems to be preserved on switching editors in Modx 1.0 (Evolution), with a simple test document and TV. What version are you using? KP

I’m using Modx 1.0 and you’re correct that checkbox TV values are preserved, however multi-select box TVs still don’t preserve the TV value.

Please file a report in JIRA with details of how to reproduce this. Thanks so much!
