Need Help Creating New Pages Using MySql & CSV

Hey guys,

I am trying to add a ton of new pages without having to manually enter each one. I exported one field in table modx_site_content, so I can see how its structured. Using that template, I added new pages in the CSV file and removed the example entry, so there are no duplicates.

When I tried to upload the CSV in phpmyadmin, I did this:

Checked, CSV
Checked, Replace table data with file
Fields terminated by, Changed from ; to ,

When I did this, it added all fields, but when I try to view the page, it said ti didn’t exist. I made sure that the page was published, and it was.

Try using the fast_content_csv module: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,29616.0.html

You just need to clear/rebuild the cache once you import the data into the table.

How do I clear/rebuild the cache? I clicked the "Clear Cache" link but it still doesn’t show the pages I added...

Then something is not right with those pages. Review the data, maybe compare the records to the original one to see what might be different. Did you maybe set deleted=1 or not set a certain field that needs a value?
