i made some pages in modx but;
the only page working is index.
When i go over the button promotions for example, i notice in the statusbar that the link is rmvinck.com/promotions.html
shouldn’t this be something like /index.php?id=50 or so...?

Either make sure your server is running mod_rewrite, or turn it off in tools > configuration > friendly urls tab.

what do you mean with running mod_rewrite?
that there should be a file named "mod_rewrite" on my server?
and these are the settings:

x No no is activated

Did you rename the ht.access file -> .htaccess? mod_rewrite is an apache module that lets Friendly URLs work, and you’ll likely need to discuss this with your hosting provider. If you’re on IIS, then you’ll need to visit the relevant forum topic here for assistance.
There is a friendly URLs tab in your manager configuration page at the very top, per my original post ... not the XHTML URLs bit.
