PHP Parse Error

Hi!

Very strange thing happened.
sometimes i see such error message insead of the site:




And in manager panel instead of page there is such an error message:

Failed to create the database connection!
. Please run the MODx install utility

What can it be?
How to fix this problem?

Well,

Error: chmod() [function.chmod]: No such file or directory

means that

File: /home/alexpron/public_html/AH/assets/snippets/maxigallery/maxigallery.php

doesn’t exist. Check the file exists and the perms on it and its directory structure are correct.

maxigallery.php exists.
Now everything seems to be ok. maxigallery.php exists. But I didnt do smthng. Strange thing. Maybe it was the server reason. Slow speed or smth...

Ok glad its fixed.

I have such an error on all the pages. It became suddenly.

Check that your installation is still OK, i.e. all your files are present and have the correct perms, also what’s in the apache error log?

It seemed to be ok. I dont know where to find this Apache error log file.
Is this a server error or MODx error?

There are two logs to look at that will tell you what apache thinks of the world, the access log and the error log, these are usually under /var/logs , on Redhat systems and derivatives they are under /var/logs/httpd for instance. This is what this line

means from your error output.
These together should give you a clue as to whats happening. Do you have a ’not found’ page defined in your MODx install?
