Secure database queries and mysqli ...

How’s your project going, Everett? I could sure use a CRUD interface for a couple of projects. Someone’s pointing me to Drupal but I’d rather not have to learn a whole new system, especially one with that sort of learning curve.

There’s an interesting extension for Joomla at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/2306/details. Something on this order for Modx might be cool.

Heheh... I’ve got 3 MODx modules in development right now... not sure if the CRUD one will get out the door because my client knows it’s a big time commitment, so if we can live off of TVs for a while, that’s probably what we’ll do. I just installed Revolution, but that’s gonna be a while before I get a basic site up and running, let alone interface it with a custom data model.

I know there’s a good need for this type of thing, I just don’t EVER want to release crappy half-assed undocumented code to the public. If I ever do that, someone please slap me.... there’s too much of that in the world already... but I digress.
