Can't redirect to another site, MODx takes me to 404

Hi,

I want to redirect to another webpage on another URL like http://MODxCMS.com.
but i see only 404 page!!!

i used $modx->sendRedirect() and header() but results are same.

when i use code below:

MODx wants to take me to index.php?id=MyURL

hasn’t anyone any idea?

Not really; best guess is your rewrite rules are messed up.

Is the URL a full URL starting with http:// ?

If not, MODx will treat is as local.

If you paste the URL into your browser, do you get to a site?

Maybe try and create an internal weblink to the external site, then call the redirect with the ID of the internal weblink.

It works on local well, i have this problem on live site.

i like Jason’s guess because it seems more controllable! how shuould i get sure and solve it Mr. Coward?
