manager hangs

Hi All,

I’m having a problem with the manager when I try and change a template on a particular page. I can update other content without any issues but changing templates causes it to hang. I’ve practically everything with my hosts and they’ve checked all the logs they could and cant seem to find the problem. Has anybody had this problem or know how to solve it?

Well, try the usual routine first: clear browser cache, clear modx-cache, try using a different browser.

Do you see any error messages (e.g. JS)?

You could try changing the template directly in mysql via phpMyAdmin and see how that goes. Maybe there’s a snippet or something in the wrong syntax (unclosed tag or similar) that causes the freeze.

This is only happening with one page?

Are you changing the template assigned to a page or editing the actual template?

Hi Guys,

it happens on all pages and it happens when changing the template assigned to a particular page. i’ve tried FF and IE as well as clearing the caches. Any other suggestions?
