get the ready-parsed Document as a String by ID

Hi guys,

how can I get the document ready-parsed as a String by ID
Not only the content or the TVs separately.
I mean the Text that modx is sending after an request to the client.
I believe there is an inside function, isn’t it?
I wouldn’t like to use fopen() etc. if there is an function for that.

No, there is no API function to do that atm; there is a complex flow of events and functions that are run through to produce a MODx document view. The good news is, in our 0.9.7 rewrite, which is object-oriented, there will be several ways to do this via the API.

The final act of the document parser is an echo statement. I’ve always thought it should have just been a return, and the index.php should do the echo.

I suppose it’s understandable, as originally the whole document parser was in the index.php file.

So I will try fopen.
By the way. I love modx. Its a visionarily.
For me TYPO etc. was never an answer.
Cause I like to use php and to know what I do.
For me modx is more then a CMS.
Its php++++
