Dear all.
I normally have a non-’show in menu’ published document at the root of my modx directory tree. I use this to set default values for template variables that are then propagated down the tree using @INHERIT and overridden when necessary. I have found that the document has to be published for the @INHERIT to work. I sometimes use such non-’show in menu’ container documents further down the tree too.
The problem is, I don’t want these document to be part of the friendly alias path that is generated. Is there a way to only form the friendly alias path from aliases of published documents that are configured to appear in the menu?
