modx removing code it shouldn't be removing

If I attach that code to a <div> tag, I hit save, and then I go back to see if it’s still there, it’s gone. Modx is removing this line of code.

style="background: url(’image-path-here’) 50% 50% no-repeat;"

Why?

AFAIK MODx does not remove anything from what you enter. If you are using TinyMCE or FCKEditor to edit the content, then you need to configure it properly or turn it off to enter the HTML directly. If that’s not it, another possibility is mod_security or similar server extension filtering out certain content posts to the server.
