    Whenever I choose my birthday back in ’74 it takes a virtual forever to scroll back using the current MODx date picker in the manager. Maybe it would be good to upgrade.

    I found this calendar date picker the other day and noticed that it seems much faster than the one used in MODx.

    The same site also has a version with drop down years and months which might be even better if the jQuery usage doesn’t interfere.

      I’m always using a simple text-input TV for dates. I prefer using standard mySQL DATETIME format anyway (YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:SS). Try to input any date < 1970 and you’re sol, due to the Unix epoch...

        If someone can come up with a backwards compatible patch to the manager to address this (and it IS bad!), then we’d definitely commit it in for a future release. I don’t think mixing in another Ajax lib other than mootools would work right now though due to the added testing and extra code, and since most of the rest of the Ajax in the current manager is based on moo...
