Occasionally I seem to have a problem with template variables not taking the values put into them through the manager. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to this, although certain template variables seem to exhibit the problem more often than others. I put in the values of the TVs, click save, and one or two of them just ignore the entered values. Sometimes when I’ve entered a value multiple times, it will finally get taken, but not always.
The only reliable way I can get these TVs to take the values is to go to the front end and enter them through quick-edit. That way always works.
Anyone know what’s going on here and if there’s a solution?
It’s happening on multiple sites, and with both 0.9.6 and 0.9.6.1.

I don’t think that is the bug, because it doesn’t seem related to a browser autotext value. Even when a unique value is entered, the problem can still occur. It also can occur with drop-down menus.
