Not sure that i am in right forum to ask this but, Just curious that whether MODx handles multiple calendaring systems or not? , i.e: users have the option to select/switch b/w different calendaring systems like gregorian, jalali, julian, hebrew, etc...

MODx out of the box doesn’t really do any calendar functions save for the auto-publishing. I don’t think anyone has ever asked about how easy it would be to switch those out so I’m not sure!

As mentioned in another thread, without using external code to specifically address Jalali, I do not know of any way to do this other than making sure the Calendar extension is compiled into your PHP and finding some third-party extensions that specifically work with Jalali dates. Perhaps we need to discuss specifically where the calendar code would be used and how MODx might be able to provide some complementary support for it or for the PHP calendar extension to make this possible?
