Changing url of website, because url just got taken by someone else

Hi,
I just build a website using MODx and by the time it was finished, somebody has bought the url.

So I need to change my entire website to another url.
Example: from www.myfirstsite.com to www.myduplicatefirstsite.com

How can I do this without having to copy/paste page by page in a new website in MODx?

I will be very gratefull if this would be possible.

of course it’s possible.

backup your modx folder
backup your database

go to your new provider

upload your modx folder
upload your database

adjust your config.inc file in /manager/
verify your .htaccess and finally adjust your users configuration settings in admin panels.
