    I see you’re using more and more Javascript where suitable.
    So it’s not suitable to you to code shitty js, only to make IE work, or to fix other browser bugs.

    Dean Edwards is something like the angel of standards.
    He coded the base class on which jquery and many other frameworks sit on.

    His little javascript is 20KB, excluding the legacy file (IE5.0 Mac/Win support) and saves you tons of hours and quirks.
    Please implement this in your future scripts.

      To my knowledge, MODx 0.97 and forward will be using Ext and Mootools.

        yes, ok, but mootools is based on the base library!
        Base2 is the second version. It even supports IE5.01

        People I know you’re really good, but I know how seductive javascript experience can be.
        It is very easy and you achieve sucsess very fast. But it IS NOT content!
        So it is not important. Javascript was built to add decent dynamic to the content, without annoying the user.
        I want to say: Don’t waste too much time on javascript, better use the time for php developement.
        PHP can do things JS can do also. But it is server heavy, that’s why js.
