I need to know where in the source code modx outputs the content from modx_site_content.content (mysql) to the modx index.php (?id=<id>).
Why I need to know this is because I want to add some php code of my own to output the content a certain way. I only want this change to be presented on the "live page" (index.php) for the visitor, and not in the Manager and so on. I tried to use a snippet, but it’s not what I need.
Hope someone can point me to the right file where this code is located.

A plugin and the OnWebPagePrerender event should let you do this without editing the source code. You might want to take a look at the Search Highlighting plugin included in the default content.
