Getting HTML character codes in snippet

This is wierd - I just upgraded to 0.9.5 rev 2106 from .9.2

When I edit or create a snippet I can put in the code such as $modx->bogus Then after I save it I get the HTML charcter code $modx->bogus

I am probably missing an option somewhere - but where?

I have the same problem in FireFox and Epiphany. For some reason Konquerer displays properly, but it doesn’t do AJAX very well and fails in other areas.

Any help would be apreciated

I had the same problem in some version too, but it magically disappeared by itself. First I thought it was the web browser (I used Konqueror), but now you are saying that Konqueror works and the others don’t.. so... I dunno

There is a thread in the forums about the very same thing from someone else too, and the error disappeared by it’s own in his case too... You might want to logout and clear caches and login back to the manager.. and possibly try 0.9.6 RC1 if it doesn’t go away.

I’ll see if it does clear by its self. I know if I log in from another system everything looks fine. I can live with it for now. But I may try .96-rc1 when I get some time.

Yeah, make sure that caches and cookies are cleared in the browser.. so log off first and then clear caches/cookies etc and try to log back.
