Snippet with errors hangs the page

I’m not sure I already did this question... anyway I cannot find neither the question, nor the answers. So, here it is again: if some snippet has an error, the server hangs (in the sense that even asking another page requires a lot of time after a error-containing-page is requested). I think that something similar to tons of redirection happens, but I’m not sure.

do you think this should be solved in 0.9.5 final release?

I see that my advice to use CR-LF instead of only LF in the README file in the root directory of the tarball has not been followed...

There are significant changes between 0.9.5 RC2 and 0.9.5 final. In addition, RC2 is not an official release, and we certainly don’t recommend keeping sites deployed on it. I’d definitely suggest upgrading.

And, yes the README has been converted to Windows CR-LF, which Ryan took care of right before the release was packaged.

I also noticed that a lot of other small bugs has disappeared... good work, modx developers!

I mean: it has NOT been followed. I cannot view properly with Notepad.

Well, it was supposed to have been, but looks like someone changed it back. (sigh) I’ll make sure that gets addressed for the next patch release, 0.9.5.1, which should be available before the year is out...
