MODX date format strings

HI I was wondering if it would be possible to include the php date format string for outputing the suffix of a date i.e 03rd November as opposed to 03 November, I can’t recall what the character was but did test it two weeks ago and the format string wasn’t recognised.

Output what date, where and how? There are snippets to output dates and they use strftime to format the date, you can define the format to use to output the date in whatever way you want. PHx can change the format of dates too..

Nevermind, just figure out that since you’re using strftime it won’t be possible.

What I wanted to do was output the suffix for the day of the month. this seems to only be possible using the php date command with "S" as a format parameter: http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

Modify this snippet forexample, change strftime to date and use date function format.
