Property sets are like copies of the parameters with their own values which you can reference when calling an element: [[snippet@PropertySet]] See http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Properties+and+Property+Sets for more information.

Afaik, property sets can’t contain php.. unless that propery expects it and uses eval() or something similar to parse it.
