The site used to work normally (exceptionally) but suddenly since yesterday, whenever I try and insert images either through the FCK editor or into an image TV, the server does not respond for some time (hangs). Infact no pages are served during this period. Therefore I guess it has to do someting with the database!
FYI: Insert image through FCK/TV takes you the correct folder, also File browser works as expected.
The only change I did in the last 3-4 days was, backup the databse using modx backup utility and insert it back on the server, using phpMyAdmin.
Any clues, what I need to do to get this issue fixed.

Inserting an image doesn’t really have anything to do with the database since all you’re doing is uploading an image to the server. Sounds to me like the server itself might be at fault. Have you checked the permissions of the assets/images directory (or whatever directory you’re uploading images to) to see if the permissions have been changed? Also, is this your own server or one from a hosting provider? If it’s a hosting provider, you might want to check and see if they have performed any recent server updates that might be interfering.

The site is hosted with a hosting service provider. All file permissions are correct.
I have another test site running on the same server, and that site does not show this problem. Therefore the hosting environment looks ok.
As I mentioned in the last post, the only chnage I did was backup, drop and insert the database. And I guess it must be a database error (though I am not qualified to say this) as NO PAGES are served during this brief period of inactivity. But, during that brief period of inactivity (hanging) of the site in question, my test site works perfectly. Could it be a issue with the backup and insert of the database (as the site in question worked perfectly earlier, and had no such issues).
Is there anything I can elaborate on so that it can be helpful for you in helping me.
