You were right jlivingston, I fount the solutions to my problem here

Now I don’t know if my next problem belongs to this thread, but still here it is...
I updated the files with fixes and and perused my database, everything seems OK.
Now when I try scheduled publishing... the documents publish as expected
EXCEPT for all documents under a certain folder... here what happens is that...
when the scheduled publishing time is met... the document does not show up in the "Site Schedule" but the status of the document remains "unpublished".
This document... needs to be manually published, in spite of having a publish_date.
