[core...]websignup to a specific web group

for my site i change two archives for autosignup to diferents groups in mod x
simply put all the websignup snippet like this in all pages you want to sign to diferent groups
example
[!WebSignup?grouping=2!] to the users whith big nose or for the multisite 1
[!WebSignup?grouping=3!] to the users whith little nose or for the multisite 2
.....
realy you need first create web user groups and for know the id of the group i retouch a little the archive
web_access_permissions.dynamic.action.php (manager/actions/dynamic) for show near the name of the group the id to put in the websignup grouping variable. now only to update the websignup.inc.php in assets/snippets/weblogin and you can group your webusers to diferent groups. to make filtered mailinglist is the best utility i think (and i want) but could be used for create restricted acounts for clients ... when you login (if you has acces to this group or a group whith higer permissions)

If I am understanding your English correctly xyzvisual this feature has been written by the core team and will be included in TP3.3.

As soon as TP3.3 arrives I will be coding up a mailinglist using the new websignup with similar features to the one you describe. (The new version lets you use chunks as forms to only collect the data you need AFAIK)

I can confirm that you can sign users up to different groups. We have only a small bit of coding and testing to go. Soon!
