Parse the output of a Chunk

Hi All

I have a chunck that liiks a bit like

<li class="tablist">
    <h3>[[+pagetitle]]</h3>
    <p class="description">[[+introtext:truncate]]</p>
</li>

It is OK with [[+pagetitle]] but it does not like the truncate bit of [[+introtext:truncate]]. The +introtext is OK.

I just don’t know how to parse my results.

Hi, try this:

[[+introtext:ellipsis=`50`]]

The problem is not the filter.

I just can not see how to apply it.

How are you using the chunk? You might try testing it on a page like so:

[[$chunk?&pagetitle=`test page title`&introtext=`test intro text`]]

The problem probably isn’t the output filter, it’s probably the snippet or whatever you are using the chunk with.

I am sure that is the problem.

I can not find any documentation about how I should be constructing my snippit to get the result that I want.
