I think I mostly understand the permissions, my Users can only see the pages I’ve assigned to them. But I have one question...
What I would like to do is this:
Step 1: User edits page and saves it. (page does not go live to the world)
Step 2: Admin approves changes. (page goes live to the world
Is this possible in MODx Evolution?
If so, does the admin get a notification that the page has pending changes?
Thanks, that is awesome!I get emails now!
But, I am still having the issue where the changes are automatically published.
Maybe I am doing something wrong.
The permissions look right, they do not have the ability to publish (box is grayed out in the page settings).
When a user makes the change and saves the resource, the resource stays published, along with the new changes.
I would like the changes to remain non-public until the page is approved (or at the very least, unpublish the page), this seems like a fundamental feature, I must be missing something..

Yeah, if it’s already published those steps wont help.
You could probably use a onDocFormSave plugin to unpublish it, however then you’ll end up with existing pages being unpublished..
Creating a local copy somewhere which can be accepted by the admin would probably be the only fool-proof method of doing this..
Have there been any changes to the page publishing user rights? Or is this changed in Revolution?
I either need a fix for this, so that my compliance people can look at the website changes before they go live, or I need to go with another product.
