I am currently working on a site, and foresee many in the future, where I will be using modx and wordpress on the same site. Just due to the capability that wordpress has as a blog for someone who is not technically advanced. The main issue is having the navigation be dynamic throughout the entire site except for the blog. This is a problem because if my client changes the navigation, by adding or removing a page or even changing the page alias, the navigation in the blog will be incorrect or possibly broken. What I need to be able to do is somehow use the wayfinder snippet, [[wayfinder? &variables=’blahblah’]], in the blog. Has anyone tried to do this? Any ideas or information you have would be greatly appreciated.
