Adding news from front-end?

Maybe this is silly question, but is there something you can add news from front-end?
The goal is to have a manager user (with limited role) to add new documents via "preformatted" form...

It must:
- support Template variables
- support custom templating

Manager Users? -> QuickManager
Webusers: e.g. "ResourceEditor" http://modxcms.com/extras/package/?package=748 or PubKit http://www.pogwatch.com/pubkit.html

Can be web users...

Thanks... will check those out
