I am attempting to convert a previous html site to modx so the owner can use the manager to easily change everything without knowing programing languages.
This has gone extremely well, except I am stuck on the last bit, which is a Simpleviewer flash gallery. This is a flash photo gallery which I previously added images to by uploading them to the server and altering the XML file.
I am not sure how to make this controllable in the CMS.
Fotoreporter seemed like a great option, as you can just drag photos in and it uploads them into an album. However..it seems there is no way to edit a previously created album?? It needs to be such that new images can be added to the existing gallery.

You are right, there’s no way to add new photos right now.
What you can do is to overwrite the existing album with a new one, containing the old and the new photos; or to manually upload the new photos and thumbnails, and update the XML index file.
Do I have any other options?
Teaching the guy to use FTP to upload photos and edit/upload XML file will be too difficult i think.
