    Dear all,

I’d like to try to port an php app to run as a module in modx (0.9.6.3).

I was looking for some generic help, but I didn’t find much - just something how I do a new module in the manager, assign config variables and so on.

What I was looking for was more about modx functions I should use, a module skeleton or any useful information on how to port something.

    What I did:
I copied the app to assets/modules/appname, did a new module in the manager and included the index.php of the app. All I get is an empty frame where the modules content should appear. Nothing in the php error log.

How could I track things down? Is there some error handling of modx I could use? Any other helpful information you’d recommend, maybe some howtos you could point me to or other web resources, sample modules of ported apps I could look into or anything else?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Cheers
    Frisco

      bump.

Im also, looking for exact same refs/links to porting apps to modx module design, best practices, and shortcuts, tutorials, etc. (except looking for for revolution 2.0 instead of .9.6.3 -- although info for any version would be just fine, Im sure I can translate to 2.0 thinking w/o much trouble ;o)~ )

      bueller? bueller? bueller?

      anyone?
