I am having a few issues customizing LoginPE. has any one used that snippet?
I got the snippet setup properly so I could log-in, user gets redirected to appropriate page, (SWEET!) now the website design I am working with has a banner sized header that has Logo and slogan, with loginpe it displays:
Welcome back greg!
You have logged into website, Inc. 76 times now.

Logout button - User profile button
The loginpe snippet that I have on that page is [!WebLoginPE?!]
What I am trying to get is display a simple Welcome back, user! and their profile picture along with a link to their profile or to logout.
I tried all sorts of combination’s that loginpe help doc suggests. Tried editing the tpl files with no luck, for what ever reason the tpl layout stays the same.
Does anyone have any insight they would like to share with a Nubby noob newbee! Thanks Greatly appreciated!
If you are just using a simple call like [!WebLoginPE?!]
then you will be using the default template that is installed in text files
where the rest of the snippets files are.
Should be in assets/snippets/webloginpe/Default Forms
The one I think you mean is defaultLoginSuccessTpl.html
If you edit that file, it should do it.
I think you can also override it and use a chunk, but if it does the job then why not hack it.

WOO HOO! i got it, not sure if this was the proper way to do it but it does what I want.
For anyone else with this problem, all you have to do is edit webloginpe.templates.php file, it looks like all the default templates are all in their and I am assuming you should paste your default form edits to webloginpe.templates.php
If anyone has a better method of doing this please post.
