Hi folks. I am new to MODx but generally familiar with CMS / OOP / PHP. I am trying to achieve something for a corporate site, and while I know MODx can do it, I am having a problem following the logic. If someone could give me the "high level" of which modules / resources would be used for each piece, I should be able to figure it out from there. I am experimenting with both Evo and Revo, so if there are differences, please let me know!
- I have a list of research papers that I want to add to the CMS.
- I want to add them to a template (title, date, summary, PDF attachment) that displays them in a big list dynamically
- When they click to download the PDF, I essentially want this exact functionality:

- So, they are presented with an information capture form, which they need to fill out before getting the download
- Once filled out and validated, it bounces them to the actual page to download the file
