Echo current url

hi everyone,

im looking to echo the current url the user is visiting onto the page. Is there a simple snippet / inline php code i can use to do this? I need the full url e.g. www.domain.com/subdir1/file.html

A snippet with the following code will give you the full URL (leave off full for relative).

BTW, if you have the base href set properly in your template, you can just use [~[*id*]~] to return the relative URL of the current page; no snippet needed.
