Plugin Configuration Syntax?

hi guys,

this may seem super simple, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me quickly or redirect me to a source where the syntax is explained for plugins configuration tab.

for example, i am using a plugin called directresize, and there is a documentation with all the configuration variables, but i’m not sure how to write them exactly. for example, $big_width is a parameter with possible values of any width i choose, but how would i write that? $big_width=1000 ? or $big_width:1000 ?

The TinyMCE plugin is a good one to look at for an example of using the configuration tab; it’s got a lot of stuff in there!

i think i may have found a solution - but not quite. directresize actually has a php file in a configuration folder that you modify, and it says "use the following syntax: $param = ’value’;". but i am following it exactly and am not getting any results.

here is what i have:

// You can use DIRECTRESIZE_PATH as full path to plugin folder
$resize_method = ’0’;
$big_width = ’1000’;
$big_quality = ’10’;
?>

i know that the plugin is working though because i see it resizing the images.

You are defining those values as strings by using quotes, but if they are supposed to be numbers you can skip the quotes. It might make a difference; I’m not sure.
