Wordpress has a handy plugin called Widon’t that inserts a none breaking space between the last two words of an HTML element.

I’d love to see this turned into a MODx plugin but don’t know how. Is anyone interested? Alternatively, are there any good plugin creation tutorials out there?
There’s a jquery version of this, too, but since I prefer to run it on nearly all block level elements, it should happen server side.
