Suggestions please: PHP contact forms

I’m looking to include a PHP contact form on one of my sites. The usual script I use does not seem to work very well in MODx.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a form which is easy to integrate into MODx via snippets etc? Ideally I would also like it to have built-in spam protection of some sort, and easily customisable to add fields, dropdowns, radio buttons etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can of course use the inbuilt eForm, that is a standard of MODx 0.9.6.3.

Or SPForm (http://modxcms.com/extras.html?view=package/view&package=426) if all you need is a simple contact form.
