I’m attempting to integrate a php user management tool called Webmember into modx. The plan is to run modx web users from the webmember database tables, manager users do not need to be powered by the webmember tool.
For the time being I just want to authenticate web users against the webmember user table (which has similar fields) but I’m having trouble getting started. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction? I’m trying to use onwebauthentication but it seems I cant stick an exit in my php script when this event is run (looks like the user logging in gets redirected regardless) which consequently makes debugging and checking out the modx object very difficult!
Any help would be much appreciated
