    Hi, I have spent almost 10 hours trying to figure out what is wrong with modx permissions without any hope..

    * The goal: Make some menus available to logged users only.

    * I tested it on Modx sample site 1.0.0 rc1, using MODx Revolution 2.0.7-pl (traditional)..

    * Blog menu should be available to logged users only

    * here is the website: **** (Click Home and Features and see how Blog appear and disappear)

    * system information: PHP Version 5.2.16, Apache/2.2.3, MySQL 5.0.77..

    * OS CentOS 5.5 32bit (XEN VPS)

    * I have tested it also on different VPSs using Nginx, but same problem.

    Any thought is appreciated.. Thanks.

    EDIT: I removed the website as it is no longer needed, it will add nothing since it is working great.. smiley

        It is doing that because your menu is being cached by the first person to access the page using their permissions.

          Thanks very much for the reply, but I afraid I didn’t fully understand you, you mean I should clear the cache? or disable it? how to fix?

            Thanks jason, now it is working, I removed locks, and now every thing is fine..

            Edit: Oh, wait, no it is not, now when I click Contact Us, the blog menu appears even without logging.

            Edit2: After repeating clear cache & remove locks & Flush permissions many times, now even if I logged in the menu doesn’t show up, it does only when you request it by ID or click a link to it, and then it disappears again when you move to another menu..

              Are you creating the menu with Wayfinder?

              Are you calling Wayfinder uncached (with the exclamation point):

              [[!Wayfinder ...]]

                Thanks Ray, I used the default modx sample site, which comes with cached calling to Wayfinder:
                [[Wayfinder?...
                       ]]

                Now after trying non-caching calls "!Wayfinder?" it works great..

                Thank you guys, without your help I would never solve it my self..

                Thanks
