OnManagerSaveUser event isn't working?

It seems OnManagerSaveUser event isn’t working with MODx 0.9.6.3? Can someone confirm this?

I did find some indication that this is the case in Web2Manager thread. In Jira there is also an issue about OnManagerSaveUser on MODx Revolution but nothing about Evolution branch.

If you could provide more information about what’s going on and make sure to file a bug in JIRA that would be tremendously appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I can confirm this.
The event gets fired in save_user.processoror.php on line 177.
But the plugin doesn’t get executed even if the checkbox for the event is activated in the systems event tab.
The database entry which links the event to the plugin ist ok though...

Maybe the EventListener ist not set up somewhere???

Thanks for your reply but I disagree... the plugin doesn’t get started at all.
Have I done something wrong?

• the plugin works (tested on other events)
• the checkbox in the system events tab ist activated
• a manager user uses the back end to create a new manager user

so why doesen’t the plugin react?

This is not critical, I solved the problem by simply using the OnUserFormSave and fetching the user details from the system. But nevertheless I’m curious.

I’m at a bit of a loss to figure out why the event would fire in my environment and not on (at least) two others.
Anyone else?
